Secrets of Corrupted Cauldron, a Minecraft Dungeons Boss

Despite its name, the Corrupted Cauldron in Minecraft Dungeons, does not directly attack the player in the Soggy Swamp. This creature produces massive amounts of pink slimes that shoot projectiles at the player. As well as protecting itself, it has a firewall that does damage when it comes into contact with something.

Corrupted Cauldron's Attacks

As long as the player is in the Corrupted Cauldron, pink slimes will continuously spawn to attack him with projectiles. On occasion, it will start charging and creating a firewall that deals damage when it makes contact.

Corrupted Cauldron's Secrets

Use the following secrets to help defeat the Corrupted Cauldron.

Ignore the Pink Slime

Whenever the Corrupted Cauldron is activated, it will continuously spew pink slimes around the area. As long as you focus on attacking the boss rather than dealing with the slimes in your way, you will reach the maximum limit of pink slimes at once.

Avoid the Firewall

There will be a brief period where you can attack the Corrupted Cauldron with melee. As soon as it starts charging up, stay away from it, as it will build up a firewall that will cause damage when it comes into contact with you.

Use Ranged Attacks

This boss is best dealt with by using ranged attacks. By passing through its firewall, your arrows can chip down its health while remaining safe from the firewall and the barrage of pink slime projectiles.

Hide behind the House

If you need to heal or plan your next move, you can use the house at the upper right of the area as a cover. When you're ready to get back into the fight, quickly move in behind it to take cover from the slimes.
