Destiny 2 October Update: A Comprehensive Breakdown of the Full Patch Notes

On a spooky new day, dawn has broken. Maintenance has finally been completed, and Guardians everywhere descend on the tower. And, of course, patch notes have been released. The Destiny 2 October 17 update has all the tweaks and changes you'll need to know about, along with full patch notes.



The full patch notes for Destiny 2 will be released on October 17, 2023



If there aren’t patch notes on the main screen and the familiar ‘One Moment Please...’ notification, is it really a Destiny event? The Festival of the Lost includes some new tweaks to Exotics like Antaeus Ward, Icefall Mantle, and Pyrogale Gauntlets. There are some superficial changes, such as updating exotic perk descriptions to match gameplay, while others are far more substantial. There has also been a chance for weapon tuning, though adaptive auto rifles haven't received another buff.
