The PICO-8 Manual by Lexaloffle Games (2023)
The PICO-8 is a game console that enables you to create, share, and play tiny games and other computer programs. When the machine is turned on, it gives you a shell for typing Lua programs and includes simple tools for creating sprites, maps and sounds.
It is with care that the harsh limitations of PICO-8 are chosen to be fun to work with, to encourage small, expressive designs, and hopefully to give PICO-8 cartridges a unique appearance.
