Bungie has released an in-depth preview of its upcoming mid-season weapons update for Destiny 2, featuring substantial buffs to a number of primary weapons. The Exotic SMG Tarrabah and Legendary Ikelos SMG will see PvP nerfs in this update, with a number of other tweaks and balances on the cards. The major focus of this weapons balance pass is to shore up the sometimes lacklustre primary weapons class, especially as PvE content gets more challenging. Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, Sidearms, and Scout Rifles will all be getting buffs in the update. Bungie explained that SMGs and Bows have been used for the “benchmark” for these buffs, with the intention being to bring other weapons up to the same level of effectiveness. Auto Rifles will see a 25% damage buff against red and orange bar enemies in PvE, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, and Sidearms will get 20%, while Scout Rifles get a 10% buff. Development on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now complete. The Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, revealed this during today’s Tears of the Kingdom gameplay showcase. He then jumped directly into the game, showing off more than 10 minutes of new gameplay. Aonuma begins this demonstration by showing how Link can get up to the Sky Islands floating above Hyrule. He uses the “Recall” power, which rewinds an object’s movement, to reverse a fallen rock’s descent. He’s able to reach one of the floating sky islands using this new power.  After fighting an enemy up here, we learn that weapon durability, a hotly debated feature of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is back. The company boasted a 66% increase in net profit, driven by an increase in revenue, and a decrease in CDPR’s overall operating costs. Crime Boss: Rockay City appears to be a bombastic, star-studded adventure about a criminal organization's rise to power. Gameplay, however, differs greatly from that of the trailer. Unbalanced gameplay, bugs, repetition, and boredom are all common problems. While the celebrity cast seems exciting at first glance, the crude and humorless writing reduces the already middling performances of characters voiced by Michael Madsen, Michael Rooker, Vanilla Ice, among others. A roguelite's single-player campaign lacks the genre's typical hooks, and bugs can inhibit progress at crucial moments. Multiplayer works, but the cooperative modes offer the same mindlessly dull missions you'll encounter dozens of times. An all-star cast of Warner Bros. characters will star in MultiVersus, the free-to-play fighting game based on Super Smash Bros. As developer Player First Games plans to relaunch the game early next year, the game's online modes will no longer be available. According to Player First Games CEO Tony Huynh, since MultiVersus launched in open beta (yes, open beta) last July, players have provided a great deal of feedback.
